Life in Venice

SNAPSHOTS OF VENETIAN LIFE

Crooked bell tower,
bell towers are the only buildings to EVER collapse in Venice since its beginning
just lean close to the nearest bridge to read the morning paper

a little chat in the process of grocery shopping

ristorante round many corners

the usual pigeon flock preying on the innocent tourists

view from my window

shops devoted to pasta

this is the way we hang the clothes, hang the clothes, hang the clothes

gets around doesn't he?

imagine coming to your hotel via this door

this must look beautiful in the summer with its green leaves against the terracotta

something she hasn't told me

on the Rialto Bridge

these lights are everywhere

I was going to buy All MY FRIENDS one of these but then decided you were all beautiful enough!!

curving, narrow, silent 'calle'

getting away from the flock

old, old, old

I really must start wearing my furs to do the shopping

must paint while talking on the mobile phone and waiting for tourists to buy paintings
quite noble looking vessels

old water wells everywhere
lots of moorish influence in venetian architecture

ciao

Jo
